Apple’s Upcoming “Scary Fast” Event

Apple is all set for another product unveiling on October 30th at 8PM ET / 5PM PT. They’ve begun sending out invitations for everyone to join the “Scary Fast” event on Apple.com and YouTube. This follows the buzz that Apple is about to announce updates to the Mac series. The event’s promotional page showcases the Apple logo morphing into the Finder icon, hinting at new Mac releases. Recently, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman mentioned that Apple might be organizing a surprise “Mac-focused product launch.”

The rumor mill suggests that Apple might introduce an updated 24-inch iMac and a new MacBook Pro. Notably, the stock of the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros and the iMac seems to be dwindling, hinting at the arrival of new models. There’s also talk about the potential inclusion of Apple’s M3 chip in the new computers for enhanced speed, aligning with the “Scary Fast” theme. While Apple usually announces new iPads in October, Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, believes we might not see any updates until the following year.

In the recent “Wonderlust” event in September, Apple showcased the iPhone 15 series, updates to the Apple Watch, and the AirPods Pro with a USB-C charging case. They also introduced a more affordable USB-C-compatible Apple Pencil. With the next event just around the corner, Apple enthusiasts are eager to see what’s in store.
