Attention New Orleans residents! The casting for the exciting new game show, “Wait, What Happened?” is now open, with filming set to commence this November.

About the Show: Contestants will engage in a thrilling Q&A session, with a chance to win up to $225 in cash prizes. Details regarding the filming date, time, and venue will be shared with the chosen participants.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Reside in the New Orleans area.
  • Legal U.S. resident.
  • No affiliations with Hearst Television, Hearst Corporation, Very Local, or their immediate families.
  • SAG/AFTRA members are not eligible.

How to Participate:

  1. Complete the online form, providing essential details and expressing your interest in the show.
  2. Shortlisted entrants will receive a call from the WWH team for further screening.
  3. Successful candidates from the screening will be scheduled for filming, along with a few on standby.

On the Day of Filming:

  • Arrive camera-ready at the specified time and location.
  • Dress in comfortable, casual wear. Avoid logos, intricate patterns, and any inappropriate graphics or text.

Game Format: The affable host will initiate a light conversation, drawing from the information you provided during screening. The game comprises up to five diverse questions (true/false, multiple choice, etc.). After teasing a news snippet, the host will prompt you to guess the subsequent events.

Rewards: All participants will receive a special “Very Local” keepsake. Those answering correctly will earn cash or gift cards for each right answer, with potential winnings of around $200.
